Crafting for Modern Life
The Brief
Creativebug wanted to reframe a class collection around a cultural moment — a growing public conversation about creativity as a form of wellness and grounding. Rather than launching new content, the challenge was to surface existing classes in a way that felt timely, thematic, and emotionally resonant. The campaign needed to speak to a broad audience of makers , across distinct creative interests, while feeling like a cohesive campaign family rather than four separate promotions.
The Process
From there I developed a distinct color story and prop direction for each collection. Rather than defaulting to a single visual treatment across all four, I wanted each shoot to feel like its own world — bold and energetic for Stash-Busting, soft and botanical for In the Garden, quiet and considered for Crafting Calm, earthy and playful for Upcycled. The white flat lay background was a consistent anchor across all four, creating unity while the color palettes and props did the differentiating work.
The Solution
A fully integrated campaign across four collections, each with its own styled photography, social graphics, reel, and email treatment — all united under the Classes for Modern Life umbrella. The photography led every creative decision, with designed assets built to extend and amplify rather than compete with the imagery.
My Role
I styled and photographed all flat lay imagery myself, then extended each visual world into social graphics, individual reels, and a cohesive email campaign.
